1961 Ford Anglia 105E 997cc Deluxe

Finished in Dark Blue with an unusual Beige interior, this lovely Anglia 105E captures the hearts of all who see her.
Used latterly for film work in the television series’ Heartbeat and The Royal.
This car has spent a lot of it later life in the warm climate of Spain and has not suffered the rigours of the British weather. As a consequence, the bodywork is remarkably good. Yes, there are areas on the front wings showing corrosion under the paintwork, but it’s not bad.
For Sale with long MOT and tax, ready to drive away….
Price: £2250.00

1958 Hillman Minx Rep ‘Special’

I must reluctantly offer For Sale my lovely 1958 Hillman Minx Rep ‘Special’. I bought this car in September 2008 and since that time it has been used for filming on the ITV series Heartbeat and also The Royal, so she comes with some lovely provenance.
Mileage shows 19,894 miles but the odometer stopped working soon after I bought the car. However, I do have insurance paperwork that shows the mileage at 18,120 in 1999 and 18,508 in 2004 plus MOT certificates from 2005. The car’s condition both mechanically and structurally is good. Some detailed attention may be desired in one or two areas but is not essential and is just minor cosmetics. The car still has its original, and rare, rubber floor mats as featured in the ‘Special’. It also has floor change gearbox, bench seat and colour coded trim.
The car drives like a dream (I have enjoyed a few days out in it) and as mentioned above, is in excellent mechanical order. MOT to Nov 2010.
Here is a very rare car in its own right, and a chance to buy at a sensible price.
Price: £1995.00

1944 Morris Y Type Post Office Van

This extremely RARE Van was built unusually during the War years specifically for ‘The Post Office’. Very few survive to this day, and this is possibly only one of three known to the Register. Morris also made this Van in Ambulance form for use with the Royal Navy and as a family estate car (an aftermarket conversion).
This particular version whilst not carrying the livery of the Post Office is in superb solid condition and is just completing a full mechanical recommissioning after being in dry storage for a number of years.
Will be sold with MOTC at £9,995

1958 Standard Eight

This car, whilst offered as a restoration project, is in the most remarkable condition having covered very few miles in its life and being dry stored for most of that time. Registered 1st January of that year, it will of course been built in 1957 and of course is over 50 years old now. It still retains its original rubber carpets and is unmolested in every way. To recommission it, a little welding work to sills would be required and an engine rebuild (seized) and of course a full brake overhaul, with that little amount of work, I would think this lovely little family saloon could be back on the road and in use very quickly. Obviously, if one wanted to restore it to its former glory, then much more could be done. The car retains its original York registration number and is offered for sale (as seen) for £1495.00

1974/M MG Midget MkIII in Glacier White

Re-built on a new Heritage shell by Peter Wood of Westwood-Portway, and only driven 846 miles since. Of particular interest many items used are original BL “new old stock” taken from Peter’s extensive stores, with the remaining parts coming from the original car The only ‘repro’ parts being four knock on hub nuts, plus it has a period Waso locking fuel cap. The standard 1275 cc engine when overhauled, benefitted from being fully balanced with a nitrided crank, plus it has a genuine special tuning tubular manifold. Recently M.O.T’d the car is currently untaxed. Tel: 01296 714232 (Bucks).

A very rare find, this very original car retains 99% of it’s correct parts including the centre rubber gearbox tunnel rubber mat! Regd. 15th June 1959, Cherry Red (original colour), Excellent steel bonnet. Whilst the shell does require some structural welding, it is by no means bad and would make a perfect basis for a concourse rebuild.
Price: SOLD

1958 Ex South African Austin Healey Sprite Mk 1 Frogeye in Speedwell Blue… MINT!

I have this car available again. The new owner regretfully is offering it for sale again.

This car I drove back from Northern Italy in 2008. It is a late 1958 car which should I think still have the 9 stud windscreen, but like most is has been changed for the later 2 stud type which is far more water tight. The shell is unbelievable, it has spent the majority of it’s life in South Africa and as such is rust free. Mechanically, bear in mind, I drove it over the Alps back to GB, so it ain’t bad…. Price: SOLD

1959 Very Original Austin Healey Sprite Mk 1 Frogeye Tartan Red, absolutely superb

This Frogeye started life in White and in my opinion, she would easily paint back to that colour without too much trouble. One owner since 1965, this May 1960 car is in remarkable condition showing very little in the way of corrosion and certainly non that I can see in any structural areas. Again, this car has seen very little use over the years and has been unused and dry stored since about 1990. The owner has converted the car to wire wheels and disc brakes to accommodate the extra power of the later MG Midget 1275cc engine it now houses. Just to sum up on this car, I have never seen a genuine British Frogeye in such remarkable condition, this will make a perfect ‘turn-key’ Frogeye to enjoy on our roads as soon as you get it home. I’m not 100% certain on price of this car yet as I have to recommision it and MOT it before it can be sold (at the request of the owner who would like to see it one last time before it leaves his ownership).
However I would estimate it will be circa SOLD

1958 Jaguar 2.4 Litre Mk1 Manual with Overdrive

This is a very original car that has never been restored but lovingly maintained. Its Grey coachwork is complimented with a lovely Blue leather interior and still retains that lustre and smell that is always associated with this style of Jaguar. The comprehensive history file with this car indicates it has only covered 130,000 miles in its entire life and in its last ten years of life with its present owner, it has been used for the occasional pleasure trip and a wedding now and again.
Price SOLD
